Dr. Kelli Jette
Kelli Jette is the program coordinator and associate professor of Human Development and Community Engagement at the University of Cincinnati, where she has taught undergraduate courses for over a decade. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from the College of Mt. St. Joseph University in 2006. She completed her master’s degree in special education from Xavier University in 2007 and her Ph.D in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. Dr. Jette has received many awards for her service as a professor and mentor to students and people of all ages throughout the community.
Associate Director / Child and Family Advocate
Jessica has been a Child and Family Advocate at the Center since November 2018. She greets families as they come to the center and explains the process as well as answering questions they may have. Jessica provides information to families while at the Child Advocacy Center and directs them to resources if needed. Before coming to the CAC, Jessica worked for the Department of Child Services as a Case Manager for 10 years. Jessica became the Associate Director in April 2022.
Child and Family Advocate
Cindi has been the Child and Family Advocate at the Center since 2017. She provides information to families while at the Children’s Advocacy Center and directs them to resources if needed. Cindi greets families as they come to the center and explains the process as well as answering any questions they may have. Before coming to the CAC, Cindi worked for Department of Child Services as a Case Manager for over 30 years.
Community Outreach and Education Specialist
Shannon has been with the Children’s Advocacy Center since 2019. She is responsible for outreach and awareness, school and community-based prevention programs and assists with fundraising as well as marketing. Shannon graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior to coming to the CAC, she worked at South Dearborn Community School Corporation and has worked with children for over 14 years.
Child and Family Advocate
Emily has a bachelors degree in criminal justice from IUPUI. She worked for Department of Child services for 10 years as a family case manager and foster care specialist. She was also a regional manager for the National Youth Advocate Program for 2.5 years. Emily came to work at the CAC in October 2020.
Heather was hired by CAC Southeastern Indiana on September 28, 2020 as a Forensic Interviewer. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Cumberland College and graduated from there in 1996. Prior to being hired by the CAC she worked 12 years as the Home School Advisor at the Greensburg Elementary School. In the past, Heather has also worked for several mental health agencies working with children and their families providing counseling and case management services. She is trained in Child First forensic interviewing technique.
Candice holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. She started as an intern with the Children’s Advocacy Center in 2020 and was hired as a forensic interviewer in February 2021. Prior to coming to the CAC, Candice worked as a Social and Emotional Coordinator for Milan Community Schools. She is trained in Child First forensic interviewing technique.
Tina was hired by the CAC of Southeastern Indiana as a forensic interviewer. Tina is a member of APSAC (American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children) and trained in Child First forensic interviewing techniques. Tina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Communications from Xavier University. Prior to coming to the CAC, Tina was employed with the Indiana Department of Child Services.
